On November 4, 2026, Anthropic added 14 new partners to Claude Marketplace, including Datadog, Asana, Zoom and Runway. The marketplace now lists more than 25 partner agents and products.

The big draw is billing. Eligible companies can pay for these partner tools with part of their existing Anthropic commitment. This guide explains what the marketplace is, who can use each part and how to buy or install.

TL;DR

  • What: one place at claude.com/marketplace for connectors, plugins, partner agents and service partners.
  • Three sections: 2,000+ connectors and plugins, 25+ agents and products, and consulting partners.
  • November 4 additions: Chainguard, Checkmarx, Cyera, Rubrik, Tanium, Datadog, Netlify, AirOps, Runway, Webflow, Asana, Glean, monday and Zoom.
  • Who can buy agents: eligible enterprise customers with a committed Anthropic spend.
  • Connectors: web connectors work for all Claude users. Team and Enterprise Owners control which ones members can add.

What Claude Marketplace is

Claude Marketplace is Anthropic’s catalogue of tools and services built around Claude. It lives at claude.com/marketplace and has a search bar at the top.

It is split into three sections. Each one serves a different need and has different rules.

Section What is in it Size How you get it
Connectors and plugins MCP connectors and plugins such as Google Drive, Notion, Slack, Figma and HubSpot Over 2,000 Connect or install inside Claude
Agents and products Claude-powered software from partners, like Cursor, Harvey, Snowflake and Datadog Over 25 Buy from the partner, paid with part of your Anthropic commitment
Service partners Consultancies and integrators such as Accenture, Deloitte, Caylent and Slalom Claude Partner Network Contact the partner
Quick answer: If you just want Claude to talk to Notion or Slack, you only need the connectors section, and that works on every plan. The paid “agents and products” side is for enterprise buyers with an Anthropic commitment.

How the marketplace grew in 2026

The name “Claude Marketplace” has meant slightly different things this year. Here is the short history from Anthropic’s own pages.

  • Limited preview: the first version was a procurement tool for enterprises. Launch partners were GitLab, Harvey, Lovable, Replit, Rogo and Snowflake, and Anthropic handled invoicing for partner spend.
  • September 23, 2026: Anthropic combined plugins, connectors, agents, products and service partners into one marketplace. It listed over 2,000 connectors and plugins at launch.
  • September 25, 2026: builders could submit plugins to the Claude directory through a new developer portal, according to the Claude release notes.
  • November 4, 2026: 14 new partner agents and products joined, taking the total past 25.

The November 4 partner additions

Anthropic grouped the new partners into four areas. All of them are Claude-powered products you can buy through the marketplace.

Category New partners
Securing code and systems Chainguard, Checkmarx, Cyera, Rubrik, Tanium
Development infrastructure Datadog, Netlify
Marketing and creative AirOps, Runway, Webflow
Productivity Asana, Glean, monday, Zoom

A few highlights

  • Datadog Agent Observability: monitoring for AI agents. Datadog says the listing is open to customers with US-based entities for now.
  • Runway: a creative agent that uses Claude to plan a brief and assemble video, image or audio.
  • Netlify Enterprise: Anthropic notes it includes SSO, role-based access and audit logs.
  • Asana AI Teammates: scoped permissions and an audit trail.
  • monday agents: teams control what the AI can access, approve and spend.

Note: Buying through the marketplace does not change the product. Datadog says the tool works the same and the contract stays with Datadog. What changes is how you pay.

Who can use each section

This is where most confusion comes from. The sections have very different access rules.

  • Connectors: web connectors are available to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile. Custom remote MCP connectors work on Free, Pro, Max, Ultra, Team and Enterprise, but Free is limited to one.
  • Agents and products: for eligible enterprise customers who have a committed Anthropic spend. Anthropic has not published the exact eligibility rules.
  • Service partners: any organisation can contact them, usually for planning and rollout help.

If you are not sure which Claude plan you are on, my Claude Free vs Pro vs Max vs Ultra comparison breaks them down.

How to buy a partner agent with your commitment

Anthropic’s steps are simple: browse, then request to buy. Partner pages add a bit more detail. Here is the full flow.

  1. Check you have a commitment. You need an existing committed spend with Anthropic, usually through an enterprise contract.
  2. Open the marketplace. Go to claude.com/marketplace and open the “Agents and products” section.
  3. Read the listing. Check the partner’s terms and any limits, such as Datadog’s US-entity rule.
  4. Request to buy. Use the sales form on the listing, or ask your Anthropic account team to add the product.
  5. Apply your commitment. A portion of your committed Anthropic spend pays for the purchase. Datadog notes no new budget line is needed.
  6. Set up the product. The partner onboards you as usual. Your contract and support stay with the partner.

Warning: Anthropic has not said what share of a commitment can go to partner products. Ask your account team before you plan a budget around it.

How to find and install connectors and plugins

Connectors are MCP servers that let Claude read and act in other apps. The same directory serves claude.ai, Claude Desktop, mobile, Claude Code and Cowork.

In claude.ai or Claude Desktop

  1. Open the directory: go to Customize > Connectors and click the + button next to Connectors.
  2. Or from a chat: click + (or type /), hover over Connectors, then pick Manage connectors.
  3. Connect: open a connector’s page, click Connect or Install, and sign in to the service.
  4. Turn it on: in a conversation, enable it from the + menu under Connectors.

With 10 or more connectors active, the help centre suggests setting Tool access to “On demand”. If you want to learn more about the protocol, see my best MCP servers list.

In Claude Code

Connectors you added on claude.ai show up in Claude Code automatically when you sign in with a claude.ai account. You can also add the official plugin marketplace with /plugin marketplace add anthropics/claude-plugins-official.

For servers that are not in the directory, use claude mcp add. My Claude Code MCP setup guide covers it step by step.

Admin controls for Team and Enterprise

On Team and Enterprise plans, members cannot add any connector they like. An Owner decides first.

Control Where What it does
Add a connector for the org Organization settings > Connectors > Browse connectors Makes it available. Each user still signs in with their own account
Member requests Organization settings > Connectors “Let members request connectors” is on by default for Team, off for Enterprise
Review requests Organization settings > Notifications > Requests Approve, decline, or decline and block
Tool permissions Customize > Connectors > Tool permissions Set tools to Always allow, Needs approval or Blocked, org-wide
Verified domains Enterprise only Stops services on your domains connecting to outside Claude accounts

Enterprise also has enterprise-managed auth in beta, where the org authorises a connector once. For wider security settings, read my guide to Claude Enterprise security controls.

My Take

For most readers, the marketplace is really a nicer front door to the connectors directory. That part is free to browse and works on every plan.

The November 4 partners matter more to big companies. Paying for Datadog or Zoom tools out of an Anthropic budget that is already signed can save months of procurement work.

The open question is how much of a commitment can be used this way. Until Anthropic says, treat it as a useful bonus rather than a reason to sign a bigger contract.

Common Problems and Fixes

I cannot see a buy option on an agent listing

Partner purchases need an eligible enterprise commitment. Contact your Anthropic account team or use the sales form on the listing.

A listing says it is not available to my company

Some partners limit regions. Datadog’s listing, for example, is only for customers with US-based entities today.

I see Request instead of Connect

You are on a Team plan without permission to enable connectors. Click Request and an Owner will get it under Notifications.

My custom connector will not connect

Claude reaches custom connectors from Anthropic’s cloud, so the server must be publicly reachable. Servers behind a firewall need extra setup.

A connector shows up as Custom after an update

The provider changed its endpoint. Your old connection keeps working, but to move to the new one, remove it and add it again from the directory.

Connectors do not appear in Claude Code

They only load with a claude.ai login. If an API key or third-party provider is active, run /status, remove it, and run /login.
